So, a couple days ago I was alerted by a couple of webcomic creator friends that Webcomics.com had suddenly closed it's doors and was charging $30 a year for it's "advice" - Beyond the fact that it was a TERRIBLE idea and seemed to go against everything that crew talked about (looking content behind a subscription wall) - I couldn't figure out why I was so peeved about it. I slept on it, and woke up un-angry and not giving a shit really. To me, personally, it doesn't make a difference because I'…

So yeah...I was there! At the beginning.....I walked into Eide's Comic Shop in Pittsburgh, PA, as I was a student at the Art Institute Of Pittsburgh at the time.....and I saw this B/W, xeroxed mini-comic, called YIRMUMAH! I thought, this kinds looks like what I do, and began leafing through it....I thought, Holy Shit! This guy is taking Rob Liefeld to task for all his CRAP!, I HAVE TO BUY IT! So I plunked down my $1.25, and made my way home to enjoy it....Flash forward to a few months later, whe…

See here. They've been sort of an accidental tradition in Yirmumah. Every year we get a new baby with a theme, and Drew gets to kill the old man new year... but not this year. Poor Drew! Happy New Year every…

So I'm piddling around trying to make some choices for the site. There are many features here, and many that aren't active. I'm trying to limit them a bit so the front page isn't so cluttered with information.
#1 Privacy setting. Right now only the main page is available to the public.
Upside: This allows for a more exclusive readership and community. Which is what I'm aiming for for various reasons.
Downside: this takes away RSS feeds, I do believe. (working on that) Or it…

So this strip was actually colored and written a little differently. I had it complete yesterday but when I hit SAVE, I accidently bumped the power cord of the computer off and discovered that when that happens in the middle of a save, the file gets TOASTED. Super pissed was I. Hope you enjoy the Black a…

Episode 44 is up. A little later than it should have been, but I plead Artist's Alley Madness leftover from the Granite State Comicon this Sunday.

Sorry, guys. It's been crazy on this end, and it's gonna get even crazier. Something I've been looking forward to for a very long time has dropped into my lap--something I didn't think would ever happen.
As such, this year is going to be me working my ass off to make room in my drawin' schedule for this new and wonderful thing. Which means I won't be spending a whole hell of a lot of time online.
Now I gotta get back to it!

Here are some videos of a puffer fish a friend and I encountered at Tinker's Seafood on Park St. in Hartford, CT. It looks like it's computer generated and came from a DreamWorks movie. Click on each picture to see the video.

...may not be a Disney franchise come October. That's when Love Land opens in Chongqing, China. The theme park will be for adults, with attractions for attractions, erotic sculptures, condom displays, sex technique workshops, etc. People will enter the park through a gateway shaped like a woman's open legs.
